Full marks to the owner too for the hefty investment. I think Copper should be given the season to keep us progressing - even if we need a backward step. I do think Forest should be a top flight club but again agree that Clough and Taylor got us unexpected success. I guess the main issue is it’s still prone to human interpretation and error unlike other sports - Cricket (ball tracking/ ultra edge etc) and Tennis (Hawkeye) both of which are not only accurate but fairly quick. Personally I am still on the fence re VAR, I’m not totally convinced it’s as accurate as it’s meant to be and certainly breaks up the natural flow of the game but have seen it work well too.

Football is certainly a totally different entity now.
